Don't Mess With Texas Trash Off
Event Details:
Join us on April 11, 2026 for the Don't Mess With Texas Trash Off – a Community Recycling Event hosted in partnership with Keep Katy Beautiful. The event will take place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at First Baptist Katy.
This free recycling event will collect a variety of items including electronics, paper for shredding, plastic bags, scrap metal, appliances, and plastic packaging. Accepted electronics include computer systems (CPU units), laptops, monitors, televisions, printers, scanners, plotters, copiers, keyboards, mice, speakers, cables, hard drives, circuit boards, network hubs, modems, routers, telephones, and multi-use copiers/fax/scan/print machines.
The Katy Lions Club will also collect prescription glasses and sunglasses for recycling. This event supports the Great American Clean-Up and encourages residents to help keep recyclable materials out of landfills while making a positive environmental impact in the community.
