Traffic Stop in Katy Catches Driver with 7 Outstanding Warrants

PRECINCT FIVE IN ACTION - Charges: WARRANT ARREST

Location & nearest major cross street: 900 S MASON RD/CIMARRON PKWY

While actively patrolling the Katy areas, Precinct 5 deputies observed a vehicle with an expire registration since 2023. A traffic stop was initiated and the driver was identified by his TX driver’s license. The driver was found to have 7 outstanding Class C warrants. While searching his vehicle, THC wax was found along with other drug paraphernalia. The warrants were confirmed, and drug charges are pending testing. The male was taken into custody for the warrants without incident and transported to the Harris County Jail.

Oh Gee!! Expired registration since 2023? I go 2 days with mine expired because I can't find the time to get a renewal, and I am afraid to get caught. How do these people do it? And 7 warrants, this guy should finally stay in jail for a while.
