FWIW, I just sent this to our senators Cornyn and Cruz and congressman Luttrell.
Taxes: The tips and overtime tax free is a bad idea. Too subject to fraud and manipulation, plus people without those but working two jobs get no benefit. Better is a higher floor for taxable income at -0- tax, so ALL low-income benefit. Offset at the top end of income earners so the effect is tax neutral. It might also quiet some of those anti-Trump people.
Next, like in 2020 wave RMD's. It will benefit seniors who won't have to "sell low" to make their RMDs, and it will remove that sell pressure on the market. In the long run, it will mean more tax revenue as IRA's grow.
