Stay Away from this area, the traffic in bad! The Katy Fire Department is responding to a gas leak on Katy Hockley Rd near the entrance to the Hunters Terrace neighborhood.
The gas line was struck during installation of a new main line. The leak has been clamped and CenterPoint Energy is already on scene assisting with repairs.
Katy PD is shutting down the southbound lanes in the area while crews continue working.
