Family Assault Arrest Made Following Domestic Dispute in KatyDeputies with Constable Terry Allbritton’s Office responded to a disturbance call in the 22000 block of Townhall Court after reports of a man and woman involved in a physical altercation over vehicle keys.When deputies arrived, the male suspect had already left the scene. The woman sustained minor injuries and reported that her hair had been pulled during the incident. Investigators learned the two were going through a divorce and that the dispute stemmed from the male attempting to take one of their vehicles.Deputies later located the male, conducted an investigation, and obtained his statement. As a result, he was arrested and charged with Family Assault. The woman was evaluated by EMS at the scene and did not require further medical treatment.
