Driver Arrested for DWI After Striking Parked Vehicle in Katy

Constable Terry Allbritton’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 21400 block of Park Downe Lane after locating a vehicle involved in a crash with a legally parked vehicle.

During the investigation, deputies observed signs of intoxication and discovered open alcoholic beverage containers inside the vehicle. The driver was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Failure to Stop and Give Information

Great observation and glad nobody was hurt, but can these individuals get more than a slap on the wrists, because in a few months, he will be doing the same thing! On top of the fine, have him work construction or an extra job to pay for the damage to that other vehicle he hit.
