Man Dead, Woman Injured After Katy Roadway Shooting in Katy
Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a shooting that occurred in the Katy area. Preliminary information indicates a man allegedly shot his girlfriend while both were driving near the 2200 block of Mason Road. The man then fled to a gas station at Katy Freeway and Eldridge Parkway, where he reportedly shot himself. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The woman was airlifted by Life Flight, and her condition is currently unknown. Deputies remain active at both locations as the investigation continues.
