PRECINCT 5 IN ACTION: Speeding Driver Arrested In Katy School Zone

Constable Terry Allbritton's Katy Deputies conducted traffic in a school zone area in the 21800 block of Franz Rd near S Mason Rd. A female was traveling at a high rate of speed during school zone hours, well above the 20 mile per hour speed limit. Upon further investigation, it was discovered she had 5 warrants for Class C violations. She was taken into custody on those warrants.
Constable Allbritton reminds all drivers that schools are back in session across Precinct 5. For the safety of our school children, please slow down and obey marked speed limits.

Wow 5 warrant, good catch from the Constables, I don't understand why people feel the need to speed in the school zone

I hope more folks are cautious while driving in school zones. I swear people are just so reckless even though precious children are out and about.

Great catch Constables. Thanks you for getting this person off the road before anything worse can happen. Especially around a school zone. We need to respect and keep our children safe.
