This will be a busy and hot weekend with the Fourth of July but looking to how I can fill it up. Thank you for this weekend calendar.

Looks like a great weekend of events. There may be more people than normal going to these events since it is Independence Day Weekend.

The July 4 Freedom Celebration brings back memories. I was on a first or second date; we went downtown for the fireworks show. We put down a blanket and after a short while, I was feeling uncomfortable and itchy. I didn't want to scratch my butt in front of my date. Suddenly it became too much. I jumped up and I wanted to leave. Picking up the blank, we discovered it was a fire ant mound! Needless to say, we left the blanket there and I scratched all the way to the car. . It all worked out okay - we're married for 35 years. Happy 4th of July!!
