Katy Drunk Driver Detained After Striking Tree in Hit-and-RunPRECINCT 5 IN ACTION: Driver Vs Tree Lands Drunk Man In JailOn Monday, June 30, 2025, deputies with Constable Terry Allbritton's Office were dispatched to the 22000 block of Keystone Trail in regards to a hit-and-run accident involving a vehicle driving into a tree and leaving the scene. The driver's vehicle had heavy damage and he left behind his front license plate. The vehicle was found a short while later, stranded a few blocks away. Upon contact, the driver displayed multiple signs of intoxication. A series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered on the scene, resulting in his arrest on charges of driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Harris County Jail.
