Man Arrested in Katy for DWI Following Minor Collision

PRECINCT 5 IN ACTION: DWI Arrest In Katy

Deputies with Constable Terry Allbritton’s Office were dispatched to the 1400 block of Hidden Canyon Rd in reference to a DWI with a male driving around the neighborhood, slurring his speech as he spoke to people, and admitting to being intoxicated. A short time later, deputies received another call for service with the same suspect vehicle being involved in a very minor crash in the 1000 block of Katy Fort Bend Rd. Deputies conducted standardized field sobriety tests on the suspect and observed him to show sufficient clues to be intoxicated while driving. He was arrested and taken to jail.
