Katy Family Involved in Investigation of Assault on Landscapers

PRECINCT 5 IN ACTION: It's A Family Affair; Father, Son and Mom Implicated In Assault Investigation

Deputies were dispatched to the 2400 block of Bristol Band Ln near Westgreen Blvd in regards to a disturbance where a father and son got into a physical altercation with a landscaping crew. The son was arrested on charges of assault. The father left the scene but deputies obtained a warrant for his arrest. The mother, who was on the scene as well, was arrested for filing a false report as she tried to mislead deputies by identifying her brother-in-law as the one who participated in the assault and then left the scene.

Wow!!! Don't even know how to react to this news. This world is bad enough already that people don't have to get into altercations with other people. Sometimes it is best to just step away. And it was probably something so minor that it escalated to something big.
