Do you have a Book Blitz plan? With the New Year comes new beginnings and new goals! Happy New Year and Happy National Book Blitz Month! Book Blitz Month is a time of appreciation for books of all genres and for the authors who write them. Here are a few easy ways to celebrate National Book Blitz Month: • Make a list of books that spark your interest, and start to read them one-by-one. • Find and read that one book that you have always wanted to read but haven’t had a chance as yet. It’s time!
• Get “Family Reading†going! If you have younger children, read with them daily. With older family members, challenge each other to see who can read the most books within a month. • Choose a series. Sticking with a book series is an awesome way to ride out Book Blitz Month. • Hit up the library: Pick up authors you have never have read before and renew and refresh your reading interests. Explore our collection using online catalog or call us for a surprise book bundle of your favorite author, subject or genre. • Set daily reading goals. Best way to do this is to have a book on hand that you really enjoy. You will be surprised with how time will fly! • Check out your favorite author’s website or other popular blogs. Who knows?
