Good thing I'm more of a spinach person.

The salad kits are something we would use at least 2 or 3 times a week. They are so delicious and convenient. Now I need to look for a substitute and avoid lettuce and leafy greens. Just when we were all starting to like the different flavors and varieties.

I miss having my daily salad. I am avoiding all fruits and leafy greens for now, since they keep indicating that they are not positive Cyclospora has not contaminated other products.

I love fresh fruits and veggies too. Our household is sticking to bananas, apples, avocados, potatoes, oranges, cucumbers tomatoes. If we can wash out really good and peel it then I think we are good. How things have changed because when we were kids, we ate things straight out of the fields without washing. It is now a days all the pesticides and chemicals used on our produce.
