Heat Advisory for Thursday and Friday. The Feels-Like Temperature will be 107 up to 114 degrees in our area. Don't forget to drink plenty of water and take frequent breaks to cool off if you plan to be outside. Pets will need a well shaded area and plenty of water if they are outside, or bring them inside.

And it's still only June. Groan. Usually August-September is the hottest around here. It's going to be a very hot summer.

This is the time I would love to live a little more north. But now it seems that the northern states sometimes get more heat than we do. I think what makes it feel hotter here is the humidity. Emoticon

In my older age, I have decided that a summer vacation should be in the colder temps somewhere. This heat really gets to me.

Our rain soaked lawns are making it feel much steamier today as well. Canada might be a good place to go for the summer months to escape the humidity. 🤔

Yes, Canada is one of our dream vacations but I'm hesitant to go because I may not want to leave. I have heard it is beautiful.

We are under an Extreme Heat Warning until 8 pm tonight. The Feels-Like temperature got up to 117 in Katy 🔥

It was hot as heck today , especially as compared to yesterday 😞
