Driver Arrested For Child Endangerment In Katy
PRECINCT 5 IN ACTION: Driver Arrested For Child Endangerment In Katy A deputy with Constable Terry Allbritton's Office was traveling southbound in the 3200 of W Grand Pkwy N Service Rd after Clay Rd when he observed a vehicle with a person sticking out of the sunroof as it drove. A traffic stop was conducted and it was discovered the person sticking out of the sunroof was a 12-year-old child. The driver, who is the boyfriend of the child's mother, was arrested on charges of child endangerment.

Glad this vehicle was stopped before that child would get hurt. I guess folks will never understand how dangerous it is not to have seatbelts on. Hope it doesn't take a misfortune to make people understand it!
Wow! The mother should have a long talk with her son….and an even longer talk with her boyfriend.
Good that the deputies spotted the child looking out of the sunroof!!!!
I get it that it is dangerous. I remember as a child my daddy would let me do the same thing. We also rode in the bed of pickup trucks and drank from the hose.
@Tiki60: same here lol but I can see how something could go wrong quickly with sticking your head out
