Assault Fugitive Arrested in Katy
Constable Terry Allbritton's Strategic Response Unit, working alongside Harris County’s VIPER Task Force, arrested a fugitive wanted for assaulting the mother of his children in November. Deputies served the warrant this morning in the 6300 block of Provident Green Dr., and he was taken into custody and transported to jail.
At the time of his arrest, the 28-year-old suspect was on probation for a separate aggravated assault case out of Judge Kelli Johnson’s 178th District Court. He had received deferred adjudication and five years of probation for his role in an attempted carjacking in which an innocent bystander was shot while waiting at a bus stop.
