@Tiki60 : She would love it! If you go around October it's not too crowded and the weather is cooler, because we were told the last swimming season is September. Also people are talking about Eureka Springs at about a 55 minute drive from Branson, they said it's worth the trip. We will check it out in October. And please don't forget to bring food, it's a tourist town and can be hard to get food, the lines are crazy.

Vast majority of the beaches are closed so it is keeping people away from Galveston, Freeport, etc. Mainly local people in the areas right now. Great time to have a relaxing visit.

Branson is a great place. Everyone should go there, at least once. Love it!

@Fiona : Your accountant is dead wrong. And extension allows you to file late, your taxes (if owed) were due July 15. You will be subject to penalties and interest.

@Fiona : Staycations were my fav. I'd make a list, hit up Home Depot or whatever, and stay home on my lovely property and finish little projects. Which is why I'm probably better getting thru this current thing than most people. I dreamed of not having to interact, now I have a reason why.

@Blackbird : Sounds like you are handling this with ease and grace. That's fantastic!

@Blackbird : Of course you still have to estimate the pay but does not mean that you can't have more time to complete the paperwork.
Note that an extension to file is not the same as an extension to pay. If you're filing an extension, you still need to estimate any taxes you may owe and pay them by today to avoid possible penalties.
Too late for either one anyway. Should have gotten this before the 15th.

@saltydog : Never pay for a tour boat...take the ferry to Boliver. The turn off to the terminal has a 7-11 on the corner, stop in and buy a loaf of bread. Walk on, it's free, lots of dolphins and you can feed the bread to the sea gulls.
