Has anyone ever been the Heart of Katy Craft Market at Katy High

YEs, we went to this about 5years ago and it was wonderful. Many local crafters both inside and outside the school grounds. I was not a participant, but we were there to shop.

What are you making?

I'm a indie horror author. I sell my books.

We use to go to the Heart of Katy Craft Market every year, but we haven't gone in several years. It was always fun to see all the different crafts and to shop. Hopefully we can go this year.

If I get a table there, and you go, you have to come by my table and say hi!

How many books have you written?

kvzsmith : I go to the Heart of Katy Craft Market twice a year and have been going for ages!

I have 2 novels, a novella, come novellette short story collections, a collection of some of my short story, and about three dozen stories in anthologies (books with short stories from multiple authors.

Excellent! Do you do book signing events?

Sbuckland :
As many as I can. Traders Village Comic Con, hopefully this Heart of Katy, National Museum of Funeral History when they have events.

kvzsmith :
Have you ever been in an art fair or market?

Sbuckland :
I used to do Katy Rice Harvest Festival and actually did very well. But its in October (this weekend in fact) and that's just too hot. As I've gotten older I don't do outdoor events very well.In fact Heart of Katy Market was a bust. I didn't make enough to even make up half the cost of my table. But you have to try to see if it works.

katy Rice Festival was so nice this weekend. Weather was great. IT started to get a little warm but at least there was a breeze and it was not 99 degrees. We really had a great time.
