Katy ISD Student-Athletes Build Leadership Skills at Annual S.A.L.T. Conference

From Katy ISD:
This summer, more than 300 student-athletes across Katy ISD came together at Legacy Stadium for the annual S.A.L.T. Conference. The Student Athlete Leadership Team, known as S.A.L.T., is made up of standout athletes selected by their coaches for their leadership, character and drive to make a difference both on and off the field.
Superintendent Ken Gregorski stopped by to share a few words and show his support for the student-athletes and coaches who make S.A.L.T. possible.
Special guests in attendance included Ryder Anderson of the New Orleans Saints, Stefan Crichton of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Katy ISD Hall of Honor member Shane Ros.
The S.A.L.T. program is more than a single-day event. It’s a yearlong journey in leadership, service and legacy. And for these students, it’s just getting started.
