Salute To Retired K9 Nick

It is with heavy hearts that Ted Heap, Harris County Constable Precinct 5 announce their beloved retired K9 Nick, who served Precinct 5 with unwavering dedication for seven years, will be laid to rest on May 23.
Nick's exceptional skills and unwavering loyalty as a dual-purpose K9 made him an invaluable member of their law enforcement family. Over the years, this brave German shepherd played an instrumental role in catching numerous criminals and removing more than $8 million in illegal narcotics from Precinct 5 streets. His commitment to duty and the safety of this community will never be forgotten.
They invite all who wish to pay their respects to join them on May 23rd at 10 a.m. at Prestonwood Animal Clinic, 13720 Schroeder Rd., as they say their final goodbyes to K9 Nick. Constable Ted Heap's K9 Unit will be joined by the Precinct 5 Honor Guard, along with friends, family and all of those who will celebrate his life, honor his legacy, and express their gratitude for his unwavering service to this department and community. #K9Officers #constabletedheap #yourconstable
