Wanted Felon Arrested After Dramatic Motorcycle Chase

Investigators with Constable Ted Heap's Office, as part of a joint operation with the Harris County Violent Persons Task Force and the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offender Task Force, located and arrested a man wanted on five felony warrants last week.
David Dyon Taylor, 28, tried to flee on his motorcycle as deputies attempted to arrest him on Monday, September 11, 2023. Taylor was taken into custody after a short chase that ended when he crashed his motorcycle near US-59 and Homestead Rd.
Taylor had five felony warrants for his arrest: two counts of aggravated assault, making a terroristic threat, assaulting a family member and interfering with emergency request for help. He now has felony charges of evading arrest too.
Since 2014, this is the 15th time Taylor has been charged with a crime in Harris County alone. #constabletedheap #yourconstable
