Holiday Safety Push A Success with the Holiday DWI Crackdown

Deputies with Constable Ted Heap's Office arrested 10 drivers in all during a strong anti-drunk driving initiative over the holiday weekend. Most of the arrests were related to driving while intoxicated. "There's no excuse for getting behind the wheel when you've been drinking," said Constable Heap. "We added extra deputies to help make sure our law-abiding drivers were as safe as can be when driving through Precinct 5."
With extra patrols in Precinct 5 and similar efforts from their partners across the area, dozens of suspected drunk drivers were removed from Harris County streets during the four-day enforcement effort. Thanks to all who took part in this safety effort, including Houston Police Department, Harris County Sheriff's Office, Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4, Office of Constable Alan Rosen, Harris County Constable Precinct 1, and MADD Texas. #EndTheStreak #constabletedheap #yourconstable
