Deputies from Constable Ted Heap's Office recently arrested a man wanted for stealing a shrimp boat from the Port of Galveston.

The boat was stolen in the pre-dawn hours of April 16 from the port where it was docked. The vessel sustained significant damage after ramming two other boats and eventually running aground nearby. Precinct 5, working with their partners from the Port of Galveston Police Department, tracked down the suspected boat bandit and arrested him on May 12 in the 1600 block of Fannin.

Able Antonio Martinez, 22, faces felony charges of criminal mischief. #shrimpboat #wannabepirate #constabletedheap #yourconstable
