Carjacking Victim's Car Recovered

Deputies from Constable Ted Heap's Office recovered a vehicle stolen at gunpoint in a recent carjacking in Northwest Houston.
The victim was driving in the 16600 block of Grampin Drive on the evening of Thursday, March 23, when a car zoomed past her and slammed on its brakes. A man wearing a black ski mask exited the vehicle and pointed a shotgun at her, ordering her to get out of her car. The suspect then sped off in the victim's car.
On Friday, March 24, Precinct 5 deputies spotted the victim's stolen car in the Bear Creek area. As deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Mill Hollow Drive, several occupants ran from the stolen vehicle. One suspect was detained. The car was recovered and taken to the Harris County Sheriff's Office for further examination related to the original carjacking. #constabletedheap #yourconstable
