You Again? Returning Robbery Suspect Arrested

Deputies from Constable Ted Heap's Office arrested a man who returned to the scene of a recent armed robbery at a West Houston yogurt shop.
The store in the 1800 block of Eldridge Parkway was robbed by a gun-wielding man on March 2nd. On Sunday, March 5, the suspect returned to the yogurt shop where workers recognized him and called police. A worker from the store followed the suspect as he left on foot and helped deputies locate him in the 12800 block of Westheimer.
When deputies attempted to detain the suspect, he pushed one of them to the ground and fled on foot. Deputies were able to arrest the suspect without further incident after a short foot chase.
Jacob Valentine, 17, was arrested and is charged with aggravated robbery, assaulting a police officer, evading arrest and unlawfully carrying a handgun. The deputy had several scrapes but did not suffer any serious injuries. #constabletedheap #yourconstable
