Stolen Park ATVs Recovered

Deputies from Constable Ted Heap's Office recovered three ATVs that were stolen a week ago from a Harris County Maintenance Camp. The John Deere Gators, worth ten to fifteen thousand dollars each, were discovered stolen on February 10th from a county facility in Bear Creek Park.
Precinct 5 deputies identified a vacant property in the 16300 block of Pine Forest where the vehicles may have been taken. After getting consent from the owner to search the area on Tuesday, deputies found the stolen ATVs on the property, along with several squatters.
Two people were arrested as a result of the investigation, one on charges of criminal trespassing and possession of a controlled substance, and another who had five open arrest warrants. The stolen ATVs have been returned to Precinct 4. #constabletedheap #yourconstable
