Wrong Way Driver Arrested
Deputies from Constable Ted Heap's Toll Road Division arrested a driver speeding westbound for miles in the eastbound lanes of the Westpark Tollway yesterday morning on December 15, 2022.
It appears the driver entered the Westpark Tollway at the South Post Oak exit ramp a little after 3:30 a.m. Deputies deployed two sets of stop sticks, deflating the red Tesla's tires. Precinct 5 deputies were able to stop oncoming eastbound traffic until the Tesla was safely stopped.
The driver, Gregory Hodges Jr., 34, was arrested without further incident on charges of driving while intoxicated. #constabletedheap #yourconstable
