School Shooting Threat Leads To Arrest
Deputies from Constable Ted Heap's Office yesterday arrested a 17-year-old high school student for threatening to shoot up a charter school in Katy.
Emanuel Pineda-Flores used a fake social media account over the weekend to post photos of a firearm and make repeated references about his plans to carry out a school shooting at his previous school in the 20600 block of Clay Rd. this week.
Precinct 5 deputies were able to identify the suspect and locate him at his current high school, where he was arrested without incident yesterday morning.
Pineda-Flores has been charged with making a terroristic threat. After a detailed investigation, it appears the suspect never intended to follow through on his threats. #constabletedheap #yourconstable
