There are Smiles All Around! Pictured here is the group of determined volunteers & deputies who, working as a team, located missing Sherry Noppe and brought her out of the thicket deep in George Bush Park at 3:30 this morning, May 6, 2022.
Constable Ted Heap is relieved to report Sherry Noppe, the Katy resident who has been missing since Tuesday, May 3, 2022 has been found in George Bush Park.
The 63-year-old and her dog were located at approximately 3 a.m. Friday morning by a group of tireless volunteers and deputies who were alerted by the sound of her dog, Max, barking deep in the woods.
These men and women searched through the night to find her. One of their deputies even took off his own boots for Ms. Noppe to wear as they helped her through the muck and brambles to get on their ATV and drive her back to safety.
"It's a small miracle that she has been found alive after being missing for so long," said Constable Ted Heap. "Our concern now is getting her out of the woods and to a hospital for a medical evaluation. Thank you to Texas EquuSearch along with the army of volunteers and multiple law enforcement agencies who never gave up in her search." #constabletedheap #yourconstable
