City of Katy Parks and Recreation Temporary ClosuresThe City of Katy Parks and Recreation will have temporary park closures at Katy City Park, Woodsland Park & Thomas Park due to needed maintenance and repairs.The Parks & Recreation Department will be closing the following park areas to the public Tuesday, April 6th and Wednesday, April 7th: • The Playstation Playground at Katy City Park will be closed on April 6th at 8 AM for approximately 24 hours for repairs to the playground surfacing. All other areas of the park will remain open during this time and no park rentals will be affected.• A small area of Woodsland Park will be closed Tuesday, April 6th from 8 AM to approximately 1 PM for tree removal. Please use caution when visiting the park.• Thomas Park will be closed on April 6th at 1 PM for approximately 24 hours for tree removal.They ask that you please do not access these parks or park areas during this time for your safety.
