Congressman Olson and Commissioner Meyers recently took time to check on the silt removal progress at Buffalo Bayou. "This morning, Congressman Pete Olson and I toured the Buffalo Bayou desilting operation that Fort Bend County is currently undertaking. The work is progressing well, with approximately 500 truckloads of silt a day being removed. Fort Bend County is committed to ensuring our residents are protected from flooding, and I will continue to be an advocate for flood mitigation and protection.
