A Katy woman has been arrested after she allegedly shot her husband at their home late Wednesday night, then drove him to a nearby fire station.

According to FBCSO: "Investigation into an overnight domestic shooting in Cinco Ranch (Highland Park) is still ongoing. Female shot husband and then drove him to a fire station. He is currently critical and she is detained." ~ www.facebook.com/For tBendCountySheriffsO ffice/
 
The victim, who suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen, was taken by Life Flight to Memorial Hermann Hospital for surgery. His last known condition was listed as stable.
 
Investigators also said the couple's teenage daughter was inside the home at the time of the shooting, but was not a witness to the incident.
 
The woman has been identified as Brigette Turner, 46. According to FBCSO, she has been charged with Aggravated Assault-Family Violence with serious bodily injury, which is a 1st degree felony.
