Man Detained After Resisting Deputies in Katy

PRECINCT 5 IN ACTION: Man Arrested For Assaulting Deputy
Deputies with Constable Terry Allbritton's Office were dispatched to an unknown medical emergency call in the 20800 block of Dover Mist Ln. near Franz Rd. Deputies attempted to ID the male, and he became belligerent with deputies. For officer safety, deputies attempted to detain the male, at which point he began to actively resist and physically fight deputies. The male was ultimately detained and charged with Assault on a Peace Officer.
