From The City of Katy:

A third-party contractor, Conrad Construction for the City of Katy, will begin the Pederson Road Reconstruction Project this Monday, January 13th, 2025.

As the project progresses, traffic lanes will be shifted to a new pattern within the next couple of weeks. Further updates will be provided as necessary.

We ask all travelers in the area to exercise caution and adhere to any detours, lane closures, and other traffic control measures.
The anticipated completion date for the project is Friday, July 11, 2025, subject to weather conditions.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Public Works at (281) 391-4820 or [email protected].

Thanks for the heads up. We will try to avoid the area as much as possible.

Yikes, this means added traffic slow downs. But I appreciate the information. Always good to get a heads up.

Rats. I forgot about this. I drive this way to and from work. I better start finding a new alternate drive.

Traffic used to be super bad a few months ago going up Katy Fort Bend by the stadium. It looked like there was sidewalks being added, widened or laid out. It was a mess in the mornings. Construction is done but there is still traffic. But I have also noticed other areas have gotten sidewalks, like before the holidays it was all up on Mason.
