Helping Pets In NeedConstable Ted Heap's Animal Crimes deputies joined their friends from the Houston Humane Society for yesterday morning's Pet Pantry event at Katy Park in Katy. They distributed hundreds of meals to dogs and cats in need as well as pet toys, sanitizer and other fun items donated to the Humane Society. Thank you to everyone who donated and to the volunteers who helped make this a successful event. Constable Heap and the Houston Humane Society are close partners and founding members of the Harris County Animal Cruelty Taskforce which investigates thousands of reports of animal abuse across the Houston area every year.
