“School's out for Summer," but that doesn't mean the learning has to stop! Katy ISD has a wealth of fun and engaging learning activities to help students stay sharp over the summer. From reading challenges to science resources, there's someone for everyone!

The Katy ISD 60 Days of Summer Writing is an open-ended writing opportunity that spans the summer and is available to all 6th grade and older community members. Writers are provided a daily prompt to respond to in any way they choose. The prompts are pulled from across contents and are meant to promote critical and creative thinking. Writers are encouraged to share their writing on Twitter (with permission) using the hashtag, #KatyISDWrites. Click here to participate:
