Interview with Leticia Coronado, Owner of Letty's Cleaning Service - Katy

As part of our ongoing "Getting to Know Your Local Businesses" series, this week we sat down with Leticia Coronado, owner of Letty's Cleaning Service!

Tell us a bit about your business: What does your business offer, and how long have you been
around?

I started this business alongside my family, and over the years, we have experienced gradual growth. We’ve been in the market for 20 years now. Truth be told, this direction wasn’t initially part of my plans; however, as I ventured into this field, I decided to take the risk. I always strive to offer the best of myself. Our journey began in the Katy area, and progressively, we expanded into other areas like Houston, Sugar Land, Richmond, Woodlands, and Fulshear. Over the course of 8 years, we partnered with Angie’s List and during that time, we consistently
received recognition for being one of the most meticulous companies in the service we provide. Recently, we’ve been distinguished by Next Door for the quality of our reviews.

Tell us a couple things you are proud of about your business. What are you known for? What
separates you from the competition?
What sets us apart lies in the numerous details we emphasize, surprising other companies. We also work with

different real estate companies doing move-ins and move-outs, leaving the properties market-ready. Additionally, as the owner, I’m always directly involved in the work, establishing a personal connection with each of our clients.

What is your favorite part of running this business?
The aspect I enjoy most about my work is the opportunity to meet, engage in conversations, and learn from people. I love going to where my clients are, interacting with them, and breaking away from the daily routine. My ideal client is someone who demonstrates seriousness, responsibility, and consistency, someone who values and respects our work. As the owner of this business, my

main goal is to attract more clients and provide unparalleled quality to meet clients’ expectations, thus ensuring the ongoing success of the company.

Tell us a couple things you are proud of about your business. What are you known for? What
separates you from the competition?
I strive to create an appropriate work environment for both my clients and employees. My constant involvement in the work comes from my continuous attention to clients, aiming to provide exceptional quality in our tasks. Our priority is to be thorough, honest and work through any issues that arises promptly and with the best attitude.

Can you tell us something about yourself as the business owner? What is your background?

My personal background includes being born in Mexico, from where I immigrated many years ago. In my country of origin, I worked in the field of social work. The reason behind my decision to leave my homeland was the passing of my father. The only way to support my mother was to immigrate to the United States. Once here, I had to hold down two jobs to make ends meet, until finally made the determination to create my own cleaning company.

Is there any other information you'd like your potential customers/clients to know about your

business?

The journey hasn’t been easy, as I faced numerous challenges over time. However, at this moment, I feel immense pride in what I’ve achieved thus far, and I’m determined to continue overcoming obstacles and reaping successes.
