Register here for Constable Ted Heap's Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events class free of charge. It will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Radack Community Center.
Active shooter events have become all too common these days. What would you do if you found yourself in such an unpredictable and chaotic situation? What should you do to protect yourself and your loved ones?
For years, Constable Ted Heap's deputies have been training businesses, churches and schools how to protect themselves and survive an active shooter event. Recently, they opened those classes to everyday citizens. They will be hosting their next free class on the evening of Tuesday, Jan. 24, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Radack Community Center, 18650 Clay Rd. Class size is limited.
These classes are taught by veteran supervisors who are certified instructors through ALERRT, Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training. The class is free of charge. #constabletedheap #yourconstable

Thank you Constable Heap's office for providing this class to the public. I believe that all companies and businesses should have a plan in place if any such thing would ever happen. These days you just don't want to be caught off guard at anytime.
