2023 UIL Spirit State Championships
Let's cheer for CHEER! Last weekend, the Katy ISD Cheer squads participated in the 2023 UIL Spirit Competition in Fort Worth, TX. Each participating team showcased its best crowd-leading material in a 3 minute performance which included a Band Chant, a Crowd Leading Cheer and the Fight Song. Congratulations to their 5 squads that placed in the top 10!
6A Division 1
State Runner Up – Cinco Ranch HS Cheer
4th place – Seven Lakes HS Cheer
7th place – Mayde Creek HS Cheer and Best Band Chant and Fight Song
9th place – Tompkins HS Cheer
6A Division 2
5th place – Jordan HS Cheer
