Call for Volunteers for the Katy Rice Festival 2022Katy Rice Festival is right around the corner and the City of Katy is still looking for volunteers! Raise your hand if you want to be in the heart of it all by signing up today!! Celebrating Katy Area’s history and longstanding cultural values, they will be providing family fun for everyone! The event will be focused around our Historic Downtown Plaza in front of Katy City Hall, and they are once again partnering with Rotary Club of Katy (“Katy Rotary”) as the beneficiary. They are also proud to announce that 100% of proceeds go back into the Katy Community through opportunities like Scholarships, Non-Profit Organizations, and Charities.Octoberfest: Friday, October 7th from 6pm-10pm - Their free public event featuring live music, beer, food trucks, and they are bringing back the carnival!Katy Rice Festival: Saturday, October 8th 10am-10pm & Sunday, October 9th 12pm-6pm - Featuring arts & crafts vendors, an expanded kids/teen zone including the carnvial, live international music entertainment, food trucks, beer garden, contests, and much more.Expecting to have 150 vendor booths and an attendance of over 10,000 people over the two-and-half day event they know you’ll find your new favorite shops to support, food trucks you haven’t tasted before, and even make new friends!There will be significant parking and free shuttle service to and from the Merrell Center during all hours of the festival.Sign up for Volunteer Registration, visit www.katyricefestival .com/volunteer
