How To Respond To An Active Shooter
Active shooter events have become all too common these days. What would you do if you found yourself in such an unpredictable and chaotic situation? What should you do to protect yourself and your loved ones?
For years, Constable Ted Heap's deputies have been training businesses, churches and schools how to protect themselves and survive an active shooter event. Recently, they opened those classes to everyday citizens.
They will be hosting their next free Civilian Response to Active Shooter class on the evening of Tuesday, August 23rd, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bayland Community Center, 6400 Bissonnet St. Class size is limited.
