Fort Bend County Libraries celebrates TeenTober
Fort Bend County Libraries will celebrate TeenTober by highlighting all the great activities and resources that are available at the library for the Young Adult community all year long.
TeenTober is a national literacy initiative created by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), a division of the American Library Association. Thousands of libraries, schools, and bookstores across the country are participating in this month-long initiative encouraging teens to take advantage of reading in all its forms and to become regular library users.
Fun, online programs specifically designed for high school-age teens in grades 9 through 12 take place throughout the year. In October, the programs will all be live-streamed via Webex.
The activities are free and open to the public. Registration is required for the live-streamed Webex sessions; a link to the Webex session will be emailed to participants who register. For more information, please click here:
