Precinct 5 Road Rage Crackdown

Constable Ted Heap's deputies are seeing outstanding results as part of this summer's multiagency crackdown on road rage and aggressive driving.

Last week alone, Precinct 5 deputies made hundreds of stops leading to 14 arrests, including 7 drunk driving cases, four charges of unlawfully carrying a weapon, one arrest for a terroristic threat, one arrest for possession of a controlled substance and another arrest of a driver in a stolen vehicle.

Precinct 5 is part of a 12-agency initiative to protect the law-abiding drivers in Harris County. "This is a great example of law enforcement agencies working together to make our streets safer," said Constable Ted Heap.

Yep. I-10 is a drug trafficking corridor unfortunately. Then add the "normal" craziness. I'm glad to see this though. The aggressive driving has gotten really bad.

@Lillie : In case you weren't aware, this area up through College Station is one of the biggest human trafficking areas too. I watched an interview on The Candace Owens Shows with Tim Ballard who formed his own nonprofit after working in child trafficking as a special agent. It's a real eye opening, especially when he talks about the end results of some of the laws being enacted now. This isn't about politics, but about a REAL and PRESENT danger to every child you know. It can be seen on Youtube. The Candace Owens Show:Tim Ballard. His message isn't easy to hear, but it's important.

Both Drug & Child Trafficking are everywhere, including right here in the Katy area. We all need to stay alert & report suspicious activity.
