The Katy ISD 60 Days of Summer Writing is an open-ended writing opportunity that spans the summer and is available to all 6th grade and older community members. Writers are provided a daily prompt to respond to in any way they choose. The prompts are pulled from across contents and are meant to promote critical and creative thinking. Writers are encouraged to share their writing on Twitter (with permission) using the hashtag, #KatyISDWrites. I love that Katy ISD continues to keep our students educated. Summer time is fun time but also lots of ways to keep learning. Some parents work and kids are home alone. This is also a way to keep them occupied and the best way is by learning. Thank you to all our educators.
