Katy Fire Department is launching their 2020 Santa Tour Kickoff Route TonightThe Katy Fire Department hopes everyone had a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving Holiday. Now it is officially time to get in the Christmas mood!! With the renovation of the sleigh complete, Santa is ready to roll! See maps below for tonight's 2020 Santa Tour Kickoff route. They will head out from Ave D at 6:30 PM; please listen for the Christmas Sleigh Bells as they make their way down the streets shown on the maps. Santa's sleigh will be followed by helper Elves in a marked KFD truck stopping to collect your generous donations of non-perishable canned goods to deliver to the local Katy Food Pantry and unwrapped toys for the Lions Club and Toys-for-Tots Programs.DUE TO COVID-19, THEY ARE ASKING THIS YEAR THAT YOU PLEASE PLACE YOUR DONATIONS IN THE BACK OF THE TRUCK YOURSELF IN ORDER TO LIMIT CONTACT WITH THEIR ELVES, AND PLEASE PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING WHILE WAITING FOR SANTA TO DRIVE DOWN YOUR STREET!!
