Dickies, the world's leading performance workwear brand, officially opened the doors over the weekend to its newest retail store in Katy, Texas at the contemporary indoor shopping destination, Katy Mills on November 23. This store is the brand's second Houston area location and fourth overall in the state of Texas.
"Based on the positive reception to our Jersey Village store that opened in 2013, Dickies was drawn to Katy for its mixture of industrial- and service-related apparel shoppers," said Ron Perry, general manager of retail stores and catalog at Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Co. "We couldn't be happier to offer our extensive collection of both work and work-inspired apparel and accessories to the local residents of Katy and the greater Houston area."
Opened just in time for Thanksgiving and Black Friday, the Katy Mills store is carefully designed to channel Dickies' work heritage and utilitarianism. The walls are Keystone Gray to reflect the durability of the brand, the floors are polished concrete to illustrate the brand's authentic nature, and display units are designed with welded metal- and teak-inspired backgrounds. The store features light box displays and mannequins throughout the space to showcase the brand's latest work-inspired looks.
The 2,900-square foot store will carry the full line of Dickies' men's, women's and junior's ranges as well as exclusives and collaborations with prices ranging from $10 for a beanie to $130 for a *****ies Pro Jacket.
To kick off the 2019 holiday shopping season, this store will be open from 6pm to 1am on Thanksgiving and will offer a "Buy One Get One 50 Percent Off" sale. This promotion will run through the holiday season.
