Katy Area Homicide - Seeking information
The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office is seeking information concerning a homicide.
At 12:03 a.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2019, Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to the 6900 block of Glen Rosa Dr, in the Katy area of Fort Bend County.
Two male suspects broke into the home through the backdoor and shot at the victim.
He died shortly after being shot. The wife and young children were not harmed.
The victim is Australian national, Brenton Estorffe, 29.
Surveillance footage has revealed a vehicle of interest at the time of the shooting. The vehicle appears to be a light colored, 4-door sedan with a sunroof.
The first suspect is a male, approximately 5-feet, 11-inches tall, dark skinned, and was wearing a dark colored hoodie.
The second suspect is a male, approximately 6-feet tall, slender build, dark skinned, and had short hair.
Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers has raised the cash reward up to $25,000.
"Help us catch those responsible for this heinous crime," said Sheriff Troy Nehls. "A wife and two small children now have to try and piece their life together without their loving husband and father."

This really was an extremely tragic event. Ironically an agent in my office lives directly across the street from this incident! It is extra scary because until they are caught, it could happen again. My co-worker is a single mom and very very concerned about this. Hopefully they will be brought to justice soon and this, at least for now, can be resolved. Please pray for the family effected and for the neighbors still wondering how tonight may go?
