Deputies with Constable Ted Heap's Office are asking for your help identifying a man who tried to use credit cards stolen from a diaper bag on Mother's Day.
The victim discovered her daughter's diaper bag missing from her car at a park in the 3500 block of War Memorial Drive on Sunday, May 12, at approximately 1:30 p.m. The bag also contained the victim's wallet with several credit cards inside.
Less than an hour later, the victim received a notice from her bank that someone attempted to use her credit cards to purchase more than 600 dollars of gift cards at a Target at Highway 6 and FM 529. Surveillance video showed a tall and slender male wearing a blue and white collared shirt and dark shorts attempting to use the victim's stolen credit cards. The suspect was traveling in a small black SUV.
