Violent Crimes investigators need the public's help in identifying three male subjects who are suspected of shooting into a home in the Katy area.
According to reports from HCSO, on April 12, 2109, at 7:00 a.m., district 4 patrol deputies responded to an in progress call at a residence in the 6200 block of Lone Prairie Way located in the Lakeville subdivision.
When deputies arrived the homeowner stated he heard gun shots outside his home, and windows breaking.
The 47-year-old homeowner fled from the residence out a backdoor and was not seriously injured, but did sustain a laceration on his arm from a possible bullet graze.
Investigators were able to retrieve video surveillance, and shows three male subjects wearing hoodies exiting a late model white colored four door SUV.
The males are armed with what appears to be handguns and a long gun rifle. The three males run back to the vehicle less than a minute later and drive off.
Investigators believe a motive for the shooting may stem from an altercation between a member of the homeowners family and a male the previous evening.
Anyone with information on the identity of these male subjects and the vehicle involved, are urged to call the HCSO Violent Crimes unit at 713-274-9100.
Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect in this case. Information may be reported by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477), submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org or through the Crime Stoppers mobile app. All tipsters remain anonymous.
These thugs need to be stopped and these kids have to quit killing each other over petty nonsense. Just so tragic that your child or relative has an altercation and the entire family becomes victims.
